Impartiality Policy lies at the foundation of the ECLs activities. Our directors, employees, staff, and those who participate in the certification process are aware of the vital necessity of minimizing the potential risks that arise from the impartiality. ECL commits to being proactive in identifying and evaluating thoroughly any risks that could arise across any relationship that could cause a conflict of interests or pose a risk to the impartiality of our employees. This could include not only self-interest threats (such as self-interest in finance) but also self-review threats (like auditing clients that have already had a meeting with), acquaintance (or trust) threats (where personal relationships may influence any objective evidence), or threats of intimidation (any perception of coercion), and financial threats that stem from sources of revenue and subjectivity risks in which personal bias may compromise the credibility of evidence. Our commitment to this policy assures the reliability and integrity that our certified services provide.
Impartiality Policy is the foundation of our goal of fostering confidence in the certifications issued by ECL to our customers and our general population. We do this by maintaining a fair and impartial approach throughout our work. Additionally, we commit to hiring competent employees to ensure that our staff has the required expertise and knowledge. We are extremely responsive to any complaints and welcome feedback as an opportunity to make constant improvement. We are committed to being transparent and giving the information and ensuring the rules regarding integrity and transparency in procedures are of paramount importance. We also strictly ensure the privacy of all personal information. To further ensure that we adhere to our pledge to protect the integrity of our data, we have created an independent committee to protect integrity (Management Impartiality and Integrity Committee), reinforcing our constant commitment to ethical and fair certification.
